  • Start massaging your scalp and working your way down towards the ends of hair shaft.

  • Continue massaging it for like 3 to 5 minutes and let essential oils seep in your hair shaft and open cuticles. You may feel a tingle a little bit from peppermint essential oil. It should not last after washing your hair.

  • Rinse out your hair with lukewarm water while massaging and removing all the dirt and dandruff from your hair.

  • Use a microfiber towel to dry your hair before continuing with a hair conditioning routine.

How to Deal With Chlorinated Water

  • Install a water filter to your shower head in order to use purified water, from hard water to soft water. Softer water is more gentler to the hair.

  • Before you go to a chlorinated swimming pool apply hair oil or hair serum and wear shower cap to protect your hair.
