FIVE RECIPES OF DRY SHAMPOOS FOR NORMAL HAIR

Clarifying Dry Shampoo

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of cornstarch

  • 2 tablespoon of baking soda

  • 40 drops of clary sage essential oil

This dry shampoo can help clarify your scalp and make your head feel light and hair clean. Your secret ingredient here is clary sage essential oil because of its astringent properties that can help to cleanse the scalp without stripping it of its natural oil.

Directions: Blend all your ingredients in the blender or food processor. Don't worry if you don't have these tools, get a glass bowl and a wooden spoon or spatula. Put all your ingredients in the glass bowl and mix with your wooden spoon or spatula till you get a uniform blend. Transfer your blend in a sprinkler bottle.

Sweet-smelling and Refreshing Dry Shampoo

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of arrowroot powder

  • 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay

  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda

  • 20 drops of sweet orange essential oil

  • 15 drops of lavender essential oil

This dry shampoo recipe contains arrowroot powder and bentonite clay that can absorb excess sebum from the scalp. Another good ingredient is baking soda which can neutralize hair and scalp pH. Essential oils add the magic touch to this recipe. For sweet-smelling and refreshing trick use sweet orange essential oil which can be energizing and refreshing while lavender essential oil has a sweet smell that can linger for several hours leaving you feeling refreshed.

  • 2 tablespoon of baking soda

You can do a quick touch up without the need to wet your hairstyles or beautiful curls. Tea tree essential oil has beneficial to soothe and calm the scalp, last thing you want to have is scratching your head so hard in public!

Directions: Simply put all your ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix well. Transfer to a bottle with holed lid like a salt shaker that you can easily sprinkle to your hair.

Strengthening and Fortifying Dry Shampoo

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of orris root powder

  • ¼ cup of rice flour

  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda

  • 30 drops of bamboo extract

This recipe is going to be fantastic for any hair type but I've crafted it to fit the needs of normal hair type. Our main ingredients are orris root powder and bamboo extract which are filled with fatty acids and minerals like silicates. If you want stronger hair strands like the one of Rapunzel, bamboo extract should be your best friend. At the same time you don't want your hair to be so strong and brittle then orris root powder comes in. Orris root powder can soften and elasticity of your hair. So you get fortified and strong hair all in one recipe!

Directions: Measure out your ingredients and put them in a food processor. Blend them well and put your mixture in bottle with multi-holed lid for easy sprinkling into your beautiful locks.

Hair Growth and Hair Retention Dry Shampoo

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of rice flour

  • 1 tablespoon of kaolin clay

  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda

  • 25 drops of rosemary essential oil

  • 15 drops of peppermint essential oil
